Drum instructor Randy Bartlett’s musical journey began at 11 years old. He has spent over 30 years playing in local rock-dance bands, as well as some brand jazz groups.
One of his greatest accomplishments is playing abroad the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Liberty of the Seas, doing two 6-month contracts. This included playing 6 nights a week, as a dance band and backing band for the headliners featured on the ship.
Throughout his entire career, he has considered himself a lifelong student of the drums, using online lesson platforms and face to face lessons with many of the local drummers. His dedication to work on proper technique makes his lessons extremely valuable for students and the Guitar Practice.
Mandolin, Violin, and Ukulele instructor Mike Stidolph is a seasoned session and live performance musician. His vast experience in the studio as well as live performance gives him an incredible knowledge base he is happy to share.
Some of his accomplishments include countless sessions in the Nashville recording community as well as the world at large. Mike has preformed numerous time on the Grand Ol’ and toured in all the lower 48 states.
Mike is active in the La Crosse area music scene as a multi-instrumentalist, session player and producer. He was recently nominated for a Grammy for his work with Michael Martin Murphy at Soundstrations studio engineered by Owner Brett Huus. His friendly and out going personality make his lessons a fun experience. The Guitar Practice is thrilled to have him on board!
Guitar Instructor Brianna has been playing in a band in and around the La Crosse area for the last five years with no plans of slowing down any time soon. Recently, she and her band have been dipping their toes into the original music space, and have been releasing music consistently through the 2023 year.
Brianna is a student of the guitar herself. Always excited to learn new tricks on the guitar, she believes that a musician will never truly stop learning how to play their instrument.
The guitar can be an overwhelming instrument to learn at first, but through patience and persistence, she is looking forward to sharing her love of music with a new generation of musicians.
